There is a kids pool available for all age groups. Kids pools are made from materials such as vinyl and plastic. The smaller ones are inflatable – blow it up and throw the hose in there. For families with a bit older kids (like school-aged), the larger pools now come with a structure and in some cases, even a filter.

If you have smaller children, you really have to eyeball the kind of kids pool you are considering. You really have to think about if it’s going to be too deep for them to safely play in it. Or if it’s absurdly small and you have a 9th grader, it won’t be very fun for them!

The larger structured pools will be round or oval. These kids pools come in diameters of 16” to 18”. The smaller, strictly inflatable kind can be as shallow as 66”. A kids pool is definitely the best way to get those pesky kids out of the house in the summer.
