It
used to be that inflatable pools were just things that you blew up in
a couple of minutes. Usually they were only big enough for a couple
of toddlers to splash around in.
But in recent years there has come on the market inflatable pools that
are just as big as some above-ground pools. For example, you can buy
an inflatable pool that sets up in only a few minutes, but still can
be as big as 15 feet in diameter and four feet tall.
And these inflatable pools are much less expensive than most of the
pools that takes several hours to put together and include all kinds
of metal and plastic pieces. Likewise, these pools are nice to take
down when the summer is over because they can simply be re-inflated
next year. Those who have more permanent pools do not have the same
advantage.
The one thing that needs to be cared for with these pools is their
possibility to pop. You must be careful that no sharp objects touch
the pool. Otherwise you could end up with a yard full of water and empty,
flat inflatable pools.
