Even though some people really enjoy spending the time it takes to manually clean a pool, most don’t have the luxury of time. It is for this reason that automatic cleaners were created.

Basically automatic cleaners work like a robotic vacuum. You simply turn the unit on and let it do its thing. These items are perfect for those who don’t have a lot of time or for those who would simply rather be doing something a little more entertaining.

Automatic cleaners scour the pool and as they do, they suck up things like bugs and debris. Even though it may be safe to swim while these are in operation, it also could be a danger. Therefore it is better to simply wait until the automatic cleaner has finished its job before you jump into the pool.

Many people tend to run their automatic cleaners in the evening, but it is up to you. You should consider the size of your pool when trying to estimate how long it may take one of these cleaners to completely clean a pool.
