Sometimes the hot summer sun can make it hard to enjoy a pool during the day. High temperatures can heat pool water and make swimming no more relaxing than sitting directly in the sun. Many people use their pool at night for a relaxing, cool swim out of the intense sun rays.

They’re affordable, easy to install and come in a variety of colors from traditional white to red or blue.

Floating lights are a quaint way to illuminate your pool. They float on the surface and create a warm glow for an inviting environment. These are sometimes better for if you’re having a dinner party and no one will actually be swimming but the lights will allow guests to see the pool creating a lovely dining atmosphere.

If you’re an environmentally conscious consumer then you may want to try solar pool lights. These lights harness the sun’s energy during the day and use it for power at night. You won’t have to worry about cords, installation or the cost of running them.
